Poetry Competition Winners

Congratulations to Maya and Joel for getting a placing in the poetry competition at Nayland College. Maya got a first place prize and Joel came second.  They both received some great prizes.  Here they are with their winnings!

My Guinea Pig Blackie

Pointy claws scratching quietly
Soft ears twitching suddenly
Big butt wiggling furiously
Cute eyes blinking slowly
Bumpy teeth munching speedily
Small feet crawling quickly
Tiny whiskers swishing gracefully

My best friend Blackie

    Maya was SO happy her poem about our guinea pig, Blackie, won her lots of prizes! His bum IS big and it really DOES wiggle furiously!
