DISCO DANCE PARTY

In room 8 we have created art works using the style of pop artist keith haring to do this we

.made cardboard action figures with split pins

.arranged our figures into exciting dance moves and traced around them on black paper

.created a bright  disco background using oil pastels

In room 8 we have been making strips of  Whakatu.  These are drawings of the Nelson landscape.  To complete our art works we needed to:

.Use line to show texture.
.Use colour to show texture.
.Use colour that are bright & vibrant.
.Use overlapping to create depth.
.Use the koru shape.

Yesterday Room 8 had the cross crounty at Greenmeadows. It was so hot. Hayden came first. Second place was Tyler, third was Marcos.
